LEAGUE HISTORY

The inaugural season had 6 teams - Above Bar Church ( for whom I played that season), Bursledon Church ( Keith Spiers), Community Church, Highfield Church, Locks Heath Church and Lordswood Church (now known by name of Kings Church).

The league started as Southampton Churches Football league but changed name to Solent Church Football League in May 1992 when we spread out to Portsmouth and even Emsworth.
